system development methodologies is used to form, plan, structure and control the process of development since it is impossible to start a project. It makes easier to process by using particular or specific techniques to obtain it. the main goal of SYD is to maintain quality and control of the system.

methodology, method and tools

methodology is used to state how the research is to be done and in the beginning of the project. in this we are going through all the methods possible for the project and pre-select the method and we proceed with our research.

method is general guidelines which can find answers for our project or for our research questions or for to conduct a research for a particular topic. in methodology there involves many combined methods.

tools are used to assist or support the methodology.

waterfall methodology

waterfall moves in a linear fashion hopping there won’t be any change in plan and they move step by step from start to reaching customer requirements and it is basic standard methodology for beginners in developing a project or system. one of the tool used for waterfall methodology is gantt chart.

devops methodology

this methodology is used to combine the software and information systems in complete service lifecycle. and its main purpose is to continuously update the system in a loop by constantly knowing the requirements of customers and to maintain high quality. tools used for devops are docker,jenkins.

 what you can do now in terms of Systems Development ?

i) it helps me to design my project in semester 2 properly and with more clarity.

ii)if i got any problem in approaching or executing my work in project i can easily solve the problem.

iii) the project can continuosly re-corrected until it is perfected.

iv) to meet the required deliverables in time, i can manage my project work properly.
